To complete 5K and to live well with/through/despite cancer.
I have recently had a diagnosis of primary peritoneal cancer, which initially masqueraded as advanced bowel cancer. Thankfully I've been able to start chemotherapy and had my first cycle one week ago. I'm currently feeling pretty well despite this, and am determined to live life to the full and seize every opportunity! I'm not a runner, but I know I can do 5K for this excellent cause which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
