Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. I was diagnosed with 2 tumours in my right breast in the 23rd December 2016. Started 6 months of chemo in January 2017. Lost all of my hair, eyelashes, the lot. Had the tumours removed in July 2017 and became cancer free, followed by 5weeks of radiotherapy. It was exhausting but it saved my life! I also lost my mum to lung cancer in 2014. So this is so close to my heart. Cancer now affects 1 in 2 people! That is an extraordinary number! We need to help in any way we can to help advance treatments and even better preventions. Please help me raise my total in any way you can. Thank you
