2021 Windsor Half Marathon

Mum was diagnosed with lung cancer on Mother's Day 2021. It was a total shock, and worse still was the news that it wouldn't be treated due to the extensive spread. However, she is still with us today, and in June, Mum & Dad celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary, a day we hadn't dared hope for, along with the family and their lovely Carers. I wanted the challenge of running a Half Marathon (for reasons that I can't recall at this stage!), and what better way to mark this momentous achievement than by raising whatever I can for Cancer Research UK.
