My Story
Dad died just over 18 years ago from Prostate Cancer. He may have survived if he'd been to the doctor sooner. I miss him and don't want others to have to go through their adult life without their Dad. A second 10k was on my list of things to do before I'm 40, but my awesome friend has agreed to take on this challenge with me (as I enjoyed the 10k so much). Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Each year, around 55,100 people are diagnosed with prostate cancer in the UK. That’s around 150 people every single day. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat prostate cancer.
