My Story
I just want to start by saying what a man Paul is.He is the most kindest ,outgoing,strongest person I have ever met and will do anything for me and for his kids I Thank you for everything you have done. Sadly this man everyone loves has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer about 3 months ago. He has started his treatment already and seems to be doing okay but as everyone knows cancer is always a battle someway or another. I am doing this bike ride London to Paris which is 315 miles long over 4 days on the 15th of July biggest I’ve ever done and is also going to be a battle but not half as much as Paul and other people fighting all types of cancer. I know a lot of people that have and had cancer like many of you reading this. My good friend jake Moore is fighting a different kind of cancer at the minute also I just wish I could take this horrible thing away that ruins so many lives and family’s this is going to be a massive challenge for me but like I said not half of what these 2 are going through love you both ❤️please show your support and sponsor me and we can all beat this!!! CAUSE
Lung cancer
Each year more than 43,500 people are diagnosed with lung cancer in the UK. We urgently need to drive progress so that more people survive their disease. Cancer Research UK is at the forefront in lung cancer research and is funding various projects to tackle the disease head on. This includes the TRACERx study, Cancer Research UK’s largest investment into lung cancer to date. This study has already transformed our understanding of how lung cancer evolves and is continuing to shed light on how to prevent, detect and treat the disease.
