My Story

I've decided after many years of 'when I find the time, I'll do that', to actually find that time and ride from Lands End to John O'Groats on a cheap bike and all in one go on the longest day of the year. All for charity. So while I have to get a bike ready for this challenge and then get myself down to the bottom of the country ready to ride all the way up the country to the very top, all you have to do is dig deep in your pockets and make it a charitable success. The bike I have found to do the job is a 20 year old Kawasaki ER500 that has seen better days but, fingers crossed, can do the miles. Let's just hope I can too. Please donate anything that you can for me to help me hit my target. Thank you. Motorcycle challenge that takes places on the longest day of the year, 20 June 2020. Bikers leave Lands End at sunrise and aim to reach John O'Groats by sunset following a designated route. Motorcycles must cost no more than £300 (not including the cost of insurance, MOT, tyres or brakes) and must have valid MOT certificate. Accommodation and on the road support will be provided. Places are limited.
