My Story
Cancer is a horrible disease - I knew that my whole life. It is easy to say and to know, but it isn’t until cancer affects someone you love, that you realize how cruel and dreadful a disease it really is. Cancer doesn’t affect only the person with the illness. It affects their family members and friends as well. We all have been there – we all have been this daughter, son, mother, father, sister, brother, friend and colleague. My hope is that one day, cancer will be something that less people will have to experience, and I am proud to join the fight.
