It's been 8 long years since my darling John lost his brave fight against this terrible disease. He is dearly loved x always missed and never ever forgotten. He missed so much and never saw his beautiful grandchildren and all the magical things they bring. Every year - except for lockdown - we take part in race for life to raise much needed - and now more than ever - money to help all the others whose lives are blighted by this awful disease so that one day we will win the battle. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
