My Story
The Public Sector Challenge 2024, Yorkshire Three Peaks, will see teams come together again from across local government, the wider public sector and private sector partners to tackle a different kind of challenge – climbing Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, all in the space of 12 hours. The Challenge is a 24-mile (38.6km) round trip route, and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent. The Park Avenue Recruitment team are excited to be part of a nationwide effort with our public sector colleagues, as we climb for a cause that is close to all of our hearts. Each step counts towards raising awareness and much needed funds for Cancer Research, and we can’t wait to get started. See you at the top!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
