Hi there ! I'm a Pharmacist who works at the university college London hospitals NHS trust. I have worked in the chemotherapy unit where we make and final check chemotherapy that the cancer patients will then receive on the wards. During my time there, I have met so many wonderful and strong patients who have been through a tough journey. However they always manage to keep a smile on their face which I truly admire. There are so many new treatments coming out and many more potential medicines under research and clinical trials. But it could not be done without the efforts of cancer research in developing these new treatments. Let's stand together and contribute towards this amazing journey to finally finding a cure! I'm running this muddy race in memory of anyone who has passed away from cancer or anyone who is suffering at this moment in time.
