In memory of
My Father in law Matt and my Best Friend Vicky
I lost my Father-in-law Matt to Lung Cancer in 2011 and my best friend Vicky to metastatic Breast Cancer in 2018. Other friends and family have been affected too and in the last year, three of my close friends have also been diagnosed with Cancer. You always know someone who's life has been affected in some way and that needs to change. I hope to run the 5k however this may be a challenge as I myself have Lupus and Fibromyalgia. It's the taking part that counts and raising as much money as possible. Plus the celebratory drinks afterwards with my team! :) Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Survival rates have improved but they need to be better. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so I appreciate any donation no matter how small. Thank you xx
