My Story
A close friend lost her partner, not to cancer a couple of years ago and they both took part in marathons. So a few of us decided to join Juliet on her training sessions and decided to give it a go with four other friends (including Juliet). All five of us have been touched by cancer in one way or another. My own mother has been diagnosed with cancer a few times over the years and lives to tell her story to this day :), but others have not been so fortunate. This is my first full marathon and I am determined to complete it with my girls and to raise as much money for the great cause.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
