Ann Wood and Finlay Smith
My Story
Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Veg Pledge page. This November, I will be going vegetarian for Cancer Research UK. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. The reason why I have decided to do this is in memory of my grandma Ann wood, who passed away due to bowel cancer. And my partners dad, who passed away early on this year due to mouth cancer. Both of these people were loved by so many and fought incredibly hard. I would appreciate if everybody could take this story on board and donate a little to help and support a good cause. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
