My mum is my motivation if she can get through 5 weeks of radiotherapy I can Run 5K! I also want to raise as much money as possible so cancer research UK can continue there amazing work!
My mum noticed that one of her breast looked abnormal, She went to the doctors and she was sent for a mani gram where they found fatty tissues, Mum had to have a biopsy in December, We had to wait for the results until January so Christmas and new year was an anxious wait, We found out in the January that it was cancer and it was aggressive! They said it was good that they had found it early! Mum then went through 5 weeks of intensive radiotherapy and luckily she has beat cancer! I’m running the race for life in memory of everyone that hasn’t been so lucky! And to help raise money for cancer research UK to be able to carry on the amazing work they do.
