A Race for Life for me is the chance to try something and make the smallest difference to a situation I’m helpless to fix. Hearing the word ‘cancer’ automatically presumes a death sentence to most people but we have to change this. Cancer research is so important, without it and the treatment options it has funded God knows the affect it would have had on my family and thousands of others.
