I'm raising money to beat cancer
In a moment of madness, I signed up to run 13.1 Miles in the Reading Half Marathon. So I want to put this to good use (as well as improving my fitness), and raise money for Cancer Research UK. I know so many people, family members and friends, who I've lost to cancer, particularly bowel cancer, and I'd like to make a contribution to preventing these in future. Thank you for your donation to support my campaign.
CAUSE
Bowel cancer
Over the past 40 years there's been dramatic progress in tackling bowel cancer and half of people diagnosed will now survive for at least 10 years. But with bowel cancer still claiming around 43 lives each day, more research still needs to be done. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease.
