I'm raising money to beat cancer
My Story
In a moment of madness, I signed up to run 13.1 Miles in the Reading Half Marathon. So I want to put this to good use (as well as improving my fitness), and raise money for Cancer Research UK. I know so many people, family members and friends, who I've lost to cancer, particularly bowel cancer, and I'd like to make a contribution to preventing these in future. CAUSE
Bowel cancers
Each year, around 44,100 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer in the UK. That’s around 120 people every single day. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat bowel cancer.
