Ironman 70 3

On the 21st October 2023, I will be participating in the Cascais Ironman 70.3 with my 3 good mates - Max, Kristian and Will. A gruelling triathlon consisting of a 1.9km swim, a 90km bike ride, and a 21.1 km run. In the run up I will be fundraising for the amazing charity Cancer Research UK through various different events and activities. Sadly earlier this year my girlfriend Emma lost her father Timothy Hilton after a 9 month battle with Bowel cancer. Tim became a good friend of mine over the past 3 years that I've known him and I know he'd be cheering me on - a keen runner himself. My Dad, Sandy, received the news he had prostate cancer in 2021. But following a 6 month treatment battle he is now in the clear. It's charities like CRUK that make this possible. So hopefully together we can help make a change and fund life saving treatments.
