Its time to pay it forward and do my bit for those who are helping my friends fight breast cancer.

My Story

Update 30.1.17- I've started today bacause last Thursday I had a message to say that another one of my long term close friends has found a cancerous lump and has her operation next week so a couple more days of no sugar really won't hurt me will it? Im doing this as last year a close friend of mine found out at the age of 44 that she was fighting breast cancer, I was so shocked it's really reminded me that we never know what's around the corner and her fight has been amazing and she's doing ok but the fight is not over yet so I want to pay it forward for all the care and support she's received and in the hope that things will continue to improve so we can ensure people continue to get the support they need for any cancer. At the moment my health is not great so no marathons for me so I'm doing something I'll find more difficult than most things, it's a really huge challenge for me especially as it means no cake for my birthday on the 4th and at the moment hard to balance with an rubbish thyroid so honestly it's worth my tenner a day target for the whole of February. Info from cancer research: Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This February I’m ditching the sweet stuff and giving up sugar for a whole month to raise money for Cancer Research UK and helping to beat cancer sooner. Help me conquer my cravings by sponsoring me. CAUSE

Breast cancer

With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
