Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I have signed up to walk 100 miles in October 2023 as I wanted a challenge, and to raise money for Cancer Research UK. I want to help to beat cancer as I have seen how horrible it can be. This is really going to test me but I’m determined to do it! CAUSE
Fuelled by the spirit of rebellious hope - of choosing to remain hopeful in the face of overwhelming odds - the Bowelbabe Fund for Cancer Research UK was set up to continue the incredible legacy of Dame Deborah James. We raise money to fund cutting edge research into early detection and personalised medicine, raise awareness of signs and symptoms and tackle the stigmas around cancer with unflinching honesty so we can give more people affected by cancer more time with the people they love.
With Cancer Research UK Giving Pages more of the money raised goes towards beating cancer. Aside from the credit and debit card fees, every penny donated goes to Cancer Research UK.
