My Nana who suffered with cancer for a long time and unfortunately passed away a couple years ago.

My Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Over the years I saw first-hand how much cancer impacts not just the person diagnosed, but the whole family. From hospital visits and waiting rooms to the uncertainty between treatments, it often felt like there was very little I could do to help. That feeling of wanting to do something meaningful has stayed with me, and this challenge is my way of turning that into action—doing something positive in her memory and for others going through the same experience now. Watching my grandparents battle cancer, and losing my Nana to it, showed me how devastating this disease can be. If this challenge helps raise awareness and even a small amount of money to support research and treatment, every mile will be worth it.
