Race for Life at Home
It has been a few years since I have participated in Race for Life but as always I race in memory of my Grandad who sadly passed when my mum was a teenager so I didn’t get to meet him. My Nan also has fought with cancer throughout this pandemic and was lucky enough to beat it. This year I am also running in memory of a member of my extended family, Marlene, who has recently passed away and whose funeral is set to coincide with the Race for Life on 24/4/2021. This will make this years run all the more special as she will hopefully be watching over us and cheering us on from up there. After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever. That's why I'll be taking part in the Race for Life at Home.
