Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. Me, my brother and my mum are doing this as my grandma survived cancer 26 years ago and this month she is turning 75. We feel this is a good opportunity to do some fundraising and something meaningful to our grandma Janet.
CAUSE
Our work has helped double cancer survival in the UK in the last 50 years. Despite this incredible progress, there’s more to be done. Nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. Help us carry out world-class research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer.
