Nanny and great grandad
Hi my name is Oliver my friends know me as Martin. I am running my first ever 5k and I'm really looking forward to it because I am raising money for a good cause. I love to play football so I'm good at running so I believe in myself to complete this. I am running for my nanny and great granddad that have both passed away because of cancer! My mum will be running with me to support me and help me raise money for this cause. I'm excited to take this on and make everyone proud.
CAUSE
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
