My Story
Two years ago, our family received the devastating news that our son aged 12 at the time had been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. We as a family have since experienced first hand how crucial it is to have the resources available to fight this terrible disease. Whilst undergoing treatment of chemotherapy our son watched on as amazing friends took part in the Race for Life to support him. He commented, “I would like to do this when I’m well”. Thankfully, now in remission, I have registered him and he is looking forward to taking part and raising money himself. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
