Cheltenham Pretty Muddy 5k 2026

Sat, 27 Jun 2026 - Sat, 27 Jun 2026

My Story

This year, my daughter Ariela and I are doing something a little different — and a lot muddier. We're taking on the Cheltenham Pretty Muddy 5K: a 5-kilometre obstacle course that promises mud, cargo nets, and moments we'll definitely be laughing about afterwards. We've swapped our usual footwear for running shoes, and we honestly can't wait. But behind the fun, there's a reason this one means so much to us. Cancer has touched our family, as it has so many others. We wanted to do something — however small — that might make a difference to the people who come after us. Cancer Research UK funds the scientists and clinical trials that are changing outcomes for patients every day, and we're proud to run for them. Our goal is to raise £1,000. That feels ambitious, but with your help we know we can get there. Whether you give £5 or £50, every single donation pushes us forward — over the obstacles, through the mud, and closer to that finish line. And we'll think of every one of you when we're scrambling over a cargo net. Thank you so much for supporting us. It genuinely means the world.
