I'm running 400 miles in November in hopes of raising £500 for Cancer Research. Why? Four of my friends and family have been adversely affected by Cancer over the last 4 years. So 100 Miles each.
My Story
I will be running 400 Miles (13.34 a day) in November, in support of Cancer Research UK. Over the past 4 years numerous of my friends and family have been diagnosed with Cancer and one who sadly passed away. More recently my Mother in law was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and thankfully won the fight. This challenge is in memory of those who have been lost or are desperately trying to overcome Cancer. Please support me if you can, thank you.
CAUSE
Developing better treatments
From testing new therapies to finding better ways of using existing therapies, our clinical trials have helped improve cancer treatment. But these treatments don’t work for everyone and can have short- and long-term side effects. With your support, we can find kinder, more effective treatments so that people can live longer, better lives.
