My Story
This year at The Norton Knatchbull School, we have been devastated to have had two students who sadly lost their battle with cancer. We are fund raising for Cancer Research UK, to commemorate Josh Wilkinson and Sam Fournillier. Josh was in Year 8 and died in September 2017, after a long battle with Ewings Sarcoma (a rare form of bone cancer). Sam was in Year 13 and died relatively suddenly in January 2018 after battling with an aggressive form of leukaemia. Cancer affects so many lives. Many students, parents and staff will have been affected in some way. We hope you can join with the school, in doing our bit in the battle to beat cancer. We are staging a ‘Race for Life’ event on Monday 16th July. We are hoping that our ‘Race for Life’ isn’t like a normal run round the school field. We intend to make this an event to remember.
