My Story
On 5 September 2024, Colchester City Council, Integrated Care Board and Tendring District Council will be undertaking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge as one North East Essex Health & Wellbeing Alliance team. The intention is for teams to beat the clock (within 12hrs) and climb the 3 biggest peaks in Yorkshire! Teams from across public sector organisations will be undertaking the challenge, all collaborating to raise money together for Cancer Research UK. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
