Mama Olive, Mama Felicitus, Molly and CK
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. I dedicate this run to my mother-in-law Olive Frith who lost the fight to Mesothelioma exactly 10 years ago on 22.07. 2012. I also dedicate the run to Felicitus Gathoni Kamere (mother to Nick and mother-in-law to my sister Isabella), to Molly Rayment (whose brother Ian is a brother from another mother to Phil and me) and last but not least to CK whose wife Tabby remains a dear friend. They remain with us in spirit. For all those we have loved and lost to cancer, this one is for you.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
