Noel's Blenheim '21 Giving Page

Hola! Thanks for visiting my 2021 CRUK Giving Page. Last year I entered the Great North Run Solo challenge to raise money for Cancer Research UK, and ran the equivalent of Glasgow to London over 78 days. This year I'm taking on the triple challenge of the Blenheim Palace Triathlon, one of the UK's top triathlon events - as a novice! I will be competing in the Super Sprint on Saturday 11th September, which is a quick 400 meter swim, followed by a moderate 13km bike ride, rounded out with a short 3km run. Well, that should be no problem after last year's effort, right? (Aye right!) So now I need your help. I have a minimum target of £500 to raise for CRUK, but I am sure plenty of people would happily pay good money to see me half drowned, wiped out on a bike, or tripping over my own feet as I stumble across the finish line! Will you help me help CRUK defeat cancer? It's not going to happen overnight, this is really a marathon, not a sprint, but together, little by little, the battle against cancer is being won as the science unearths the secrets behind the illness and develops ways of tackling it. If you can spare a fiver, or maybe a tenner, or maybe even a twenty, it will go towards the search for a cure and for better treatment. Thank you so much for your support. Noel >>> UPDATE 12th September <<< I completed the Super Sprint Triathlon at about 17:15 on the 11th September recording a time of 1 hour 4 minutes and 55 seconds - 50th place overall for the Super Sprint on Saturday, and 87/570 overall for the full weekend.
