My Story
Cancer is happening right now, and hsa effected numerous people in my life, including my cousin, who passed away from Leukemia when I was only 5 (and he was in his teens). I want to do my part in raising money for Cancer Research UK, that helps us beat this illness, and helps cancer patients from living better lives. Having never run a race before, and only taking up running in March 2021, I'm now going to train hard to take on life to its fullest, and it starts with taking part in Race for Life 10K to raise money and save lives. I aim to complete it within 75 minutes. 50% of the UK population will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. As an added bonus for the charity and to motivate me further to maximise my fund raising, I'd like to request a pledge that for every minute less than 70 minutes that I manage to complete the race in, you can see it in your heart to increase your donation by £1/minute (and i'll triple it to £3/minute) per donor. So, please donate today, and help save the lives of many more cancer patients.
