My Story
Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing well. On 11th July, I’ll be taking on the Cancer Research UK Big Hike through the Cotswolds — a continuous 26‑mile challenge across the hills, trails, and countryside. It’s going to be a tough day on my feet, but I’m doing it for a cause that means a great deal to me. Ten years ago, one of my closest friends was diagnosed with cancer. Watching the life leave her eyes during that time was one of the hardest things I’ve ever witnessed. It changed our friendship forever — in some ways painfully, but ultimately for the better. She’s been in remission for seven years now, and she’s doing amazingly well, but the fear of the cancer returning never truly leaves. This hike is my way of honouring her strength, celebrating how far she’s come, and supporting the research that gives families like hers hope. Any donation — big or small — would mean the world to me and help fund vital research that saves lives. Thank you so much for reading, and for any support you’re able to give. It truly makes a difference. With gratitude,
