My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Cancer affects us all at one time or another, bringing great challenges and sad, difficult times to us, our families and friends. This October I’m going to raise money for Cancer Research UK by walking 100 miles with the help of Ben, my husband, Peggy, our beagle, and my favourite podcast, The News Agents. Please show your support and help fund life-saving research by donating to my page. I’m starting tomorrow with a three mile walk, and I’ll update my total each week on Saturday.

Our work has helped double cancer survival in the UK in the last 50 years. Despite this incredible progress, there’s more to be done. Nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. Help us carry out world-class research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer.
