My Story
Vertas Group directors are stepping up their game with a new social value initiative, hosting a number of fundraising activities and encouraging colleagues to participate. This coming year, each director will lead a team of colleagues as they hope to raise the bar and some serious funds for the group's chosen charity, Cancer Research UK. From a Derbyshire bike ride route to a Ryder Cup golf event, directors are challenging colleagues to join them and give back to a worthy cause. Whether colleagues are pedalling for purpose or jogging for generosity, each individual’s effort will play a vital role in the Group's collective effort to make a positive impact. And, as the Vertas Group team embarks on a new year of fundraising, the company hopes this new social value initiative will support the company to exceed fundraising efforts from 2023.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
