Nina's Race for Life 2018

Together, Kayleigh, Courtney and I are Team Poppy! We are doing the Race for Life on 24th June 2018. Please sponsor us! Why should you sponsor us? Cancer can affect anyone; young or old, male or female. It makes no difference. In 2016, I went through probably the worst experience of my life. There was a completely unexpected diagnosis of cancer within my immediate family. Some people know, some don't. I chose to tell very few people about it. As a result I felt completely lost and useless. I wanted to help but there was nothing I could do. This was a medical issue. I had to put my trust in the medical professionals who were responsible for treating my family member. It's a horrible feeling knowing that you can't do anything to help a loved one. So I did the only thing I could - I started to fundraise for Cancer Research UK. In 2016 I successfully completed 3 challenges:- ✅ Sugar Free March ✅ Race For Life in June ✅ Walk All Over Cancer (minimum 10,000 steps a Day) in July In 2017 I successfully completed 2 challenges:- ✅ Sugar Free Vegetarian February ✅ Race for Life in June This year, it’s the Race for Life again. Thankfully my family member is now still all clear and in remission. The scientific and medical advances made in cancer treatment have been astonishing. My family's experience has made me more determined than ever to do whatever I can to fundraise and ensure that the research continues so that eventually there will be a cure for cancer. I have even incorporated an element of fundraising into my work. So please sponsor us. Help us to help Cancer Research UK to beat cancer for good.
