Nikki's Giving Page

My lovely Mum was only 60 years old when this horrendous disease took her away from us. In a short space of 13 weeks. Leaving her robbed of the life she should be living now. She had so much more to do and see in life. And now that will not happen. And I have been robbed of my Mum far too soon, my Dad of his wife (it would have been their ruby wedding this year), my brother of his Mum, my daughter of her Nan and my husband of his mother in law. Along with other family members and close friends. To say our world has been turned upside down is an understatement. She is dearly missed all the time. And loved so much. She always will be. She is our angel up above. Throughout the time of her diagnosis until she so sadly passed away, she fought it with courage and strength that I never knew she had. She was brave and inspiring and will always be my inspiration. So in memory of my Mum, I wish to raise as much money as possible to help in the fight of the C word in the hope it will help others not to lose their loved ones. So myself and my other Honeyz will be doing the best we can and are determined to complete this challenge. And believe me, I’m not in the healthiest / fittest stage of my life so I know it will be a struggle. But a struggle that my Mum will walk beside me. In my heart always.
