My challenges to improve my fitness and are minor compared to those battling cancer.

Over the years I have known too many friends and family members who have fought Cancer - some have won, some are still fighting and unfortunately some have lost that battle. In previous years I have jogged the 5k Race for Life. Last year I walked the 5k due to injury. This year I am challenging myself to do the 10k. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
