My Story

I lost my mum in 2013 after battling against cancer. That was the biggest shock of my life. I was really close to my mum and never thought that she will leave the world like this and so early. We always think that this is not going to happen to us or your near ones but never realise when the cancer takes over. Then recently one of my best friend got diagnosed with Breast Cancer, again that was a shock because I never thought that she will get it. Luckily it was curable and she is completely fine. I have witnesses the struggle she has gone through and the struggle my MUM and my family has gone through. A little support during this time make so much difference. And now I lost my beautiful colleague Carolynne against cancer. Our Carolynne was always smiling, enjoying life and had some great exotic holidays. Beautiful memories made with loved ones. She never expressed any pain during her treatment and continued to come into work with a smile on her face. My run is dedicated to all those who has lost their lives against cancer, for all families who gave up their life to help and support the person suffering from cancer, for all those people who stand strong and fight against this disease. Please support me as this one of my first step towards doing something good.
