My Story
Most of you know that the last two years have been a mountain for my family. We lost my dad to lung cancer, and my mum is currently on her road to recovery after breast cancer. It’s been a long, hard journey, but I’m ready to turn that energy into something positive. I’m participating in the Cancer Research walk this March to help fund the science that saves lives. • I’m walking for Dad, because he can’t. • I’m walking for Mum, because she’s a survivor. • I’m walking for a future where cancer loses. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
