In memory of
my grandfather
My Story
I am going to walk my 4th half marathon for Cancer Research UK however it's the first one that I'll be walking whilst there's an active cancer battle going on within my family. I'll be walking on 24th of September in memory of my beloved grandfather who passed away due to pancreas cancer in 2004, to celebrate the victories of my mum against colon cancer (2005-6) and then uterine metastasis (2011-12) and to support my dad against his recent diagnosis of prostate cancer.
