My Story

In June, I am riding a challenge in aid of Cancer Research UK. The challenge is for motorcyclists on cheap and inappropriate motorcycles to ride from Land’s End to John O'Groats in 24hrs on the longest day of the year. The bikes must have been bought for no more than £600! I will hopefully be completing this ride on behalf of my son Leo. In March 2023 our son was born sleeping at 21 weeks. Baby loss is not spoken about enough, but this is in memory of him and also a friend whom I lost to cancer 30 years ago (JJ). Both are gone but never forgotten.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
