My Story
Cancer is happening now, which is why we are taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Right now Nic is fighting this horrible disease. There is very little we can do for her but we hope that our friendship, our support (and perhaps our cleaning or babysitting skills) will help our amazing friend and her family through this time.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
