In memory of
My Dad
I’m fundraising in memory of my Dad who died from cancer this year. He had lung cancer but we thought he was going to be ok because they caught it early. We thought that the whole of the year he was being treated. Then when we found out he wouldn’t, we had a month together. I’m so grateful for that time and I wouldn’t wish him to be here and in pain, but I so wish he’d survived. So I’m fundraising to support the people who are trying to find cures and treatments to allow others to beat this and survive. Every little helps and even if you can’t donate now, maybe you can donate to Cancer Research another time We miss you Popsicle. xo

CAUSE
Lung cancer
Each year more than 43,500 people are diagnosed with lung cancer in the UK. We urgently need to drive progress so that more people survive their disease. Cancer Research UK is at the forefront in lung cancer research and is funding various projects to tackle the disease head on. This includes the TRACERx study, Cancer Research UK’s largest investment into lung cancer to date. This study has already transformed our understanding of how lung cancer evolves and is continuing to shed light on how to prevent, detect and treat the disease.
