Nicole's Race for Life
Glasgow 5k 2018
Sun 20 May 2018
Sadly I have witnessed what cancer can do to people. In 2014 my Nana was diagnosed with Lung Cancer and then after her short battle she became my beautiful angel in the sky. And then when we thought we had gotten through it, my papa was diagnosed with the same cancer as my nana in 2016. He fought so hard to beat it but he sadly lost his brave battle aswell and went to be with his true love, my nana, again. Not a day goes by where I dont think of them and hope I am making them proud with everything I do. I dont want anyone to go through what my nana, papa or my family, went through again. I will be doing the Race for Life this year and I will be joined by my 2 Cousins, Michelle & Taylor, and my little sister Kimberley. We are called "Liz & Billys Angels" in memory of my nana and papa. Please help us raise as much money as we possibly can to help get rid of cancer. Even a little can go a long way. I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
