I'm taking part in Race for Life in memory of those who battled so hard to beat this awful disease as well as those who survived.
My Story
Like most families ours has been touched by cancer on many occasions, so this year my lovely sons, Jordan and Aaron, their girlfriends Chloe and Jade and my husband Jim have agreed to join me in the Race for Life. We have decided to raise money in memory of our sister-in-law and Auntie, Sarah Thomas and our friends Rose and James who all lost their brave battles with this dreadful disease, but also in support of survivors like my Mum, Margaret Thomas, who have beaten breast cancer.
CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
