I have been taking part in the Race For Life every year since 2005 in memory of my Uncle John then after later losing my Nan to cancer, in her memory too. Sadly, too many friends have been diagnosed in those 16 years, some thankfully still here but several sadly no longer with us. After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever. That's why this year I will be taking part in the Race for Life at Home, which will be my 17th Race For Life event!
