Nicola's Race for Life
Exeter 5k 2019
Sun 21 Jul 2019 - Sun 21 Jul 2019
I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k on 21 July to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. I've had a couple of diagnoses, most recently breast cancer in 2016. I have been incredibly lucky to have benefitted from Cancer research, with the treatment and monitoring I've had, and continue to receive, tailored to my type of cancer and risk of recurrence. Since my first diagnosis in 2011 so many friends, colleagues and family have joined the club no one wants to be a member of. We all know I’m no runner, but it would be great if you could sponsor me to stride out with some friends in our "Eating Dust" team. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Thank you x
