My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. I've personally been affected profoundly by watching the brave fight with Myeloma by my Brother in Law and Breast cancer by my Mum and Sister in Law over the last couple of years. Sadly, we lost Mum and Duncan last year. Cheryl who has nearly finished her treatment is doing well and a total hero. Having had a long break from running I was inspired to start the couch to 5k training after watching the London Marathon.
