Nicola's Race for Life

This time last year my gorgeous and amazing Dad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer completely out of the blue. He was dancing at a party with my beautiful mum one minute, started feeling unwell and within days was told he had weeks to live. The way he coped with becoming so ill so quickly was unbelievably admirable and he remained so positive and inspirational throughout his last weeks. His favourite phrase was “Life is beautiful” and made the most of every second he had left, laughing, smiling, telling us all how much he loved us, seeing friends, drinking wine and just appreciating everything to the max. He was so brave. Every step of this run is for him, in his memory, I love you Dad so much and we miss you.
