My Story
In July, Steph and I will running the Pretty Muddy Race for Life. I'm hoping to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK. As some of you may know, my wonderful Dad passed away in 2014, aged 52, after a short but incredibly brave battle with pancreatic cancer. Working in a cancer research group during my uni placement year has shown me what this kind of funding can achieve, which has made me even more passionate about raising money for it. Any donation you could make, no matter how small, would mean a lot 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️ (My Dad would be pissing himself at the thought of me running a 5K covered in mud, clambering over obstacles, so it's worth sponsoring me just for that really 😂)

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
